- 1 September 2026BUDI quota back to 300 litresThe monthly allowance returns to 300 litres, shared between RON 95 and diesel; pick-ups and jeeps can apply for 400.
- 1 July 2026BUDI Diesel RM 2.10 nationwideDiesel pricing and subsidy are standardised nationwide: eligible individuals pay RM 2.10 with MyKad, including in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan.
- 1 April 2026BUDI quota cut to 200 litresThe monthly subsidised allowance is cut from 300 to 200 litres.
- 30 September 2025BUDI 95 launched (RM 1.99)Malaysian citizens with a MyKad and driving licence pay RM 1.99 a litre for RON 95; the market RON 95 price starts to float.
- 10 June 2024Peninsular diesel floatedTargeted diesel subsidy: Peninsular diesel set at RM 3.35 a litre at market price; eligible logistics fleets pay RM 2.15 under SKDS.
