Malaysia Fuel Prices — September 2025

In September 2025, RON 95 retailed between RM 2.05 and RM 2.60 (average RM 2.16) and rose RM 0.55 over the month. RON 97 averaged RM 3.19 and Peninsular diesel RM 2.91. BUDI 95, the targeted RON 95 subsidy, launched this month.

RON 97 averaged 1.3% more than the previous month (RM 3.15 → RM 3.19). That is 2.1% lower than a year earlier (RM 3.26).

30 September 2025: BUDI 95 launched (RM 1.99). Malaysian citizens with a MyKad and driving licence pay RM 1.99 a litre for RON 95; the market RON 95 price starts to float.
