Malaysia Fuel Prices — April 2026

In April 2026, RON 95 retailed between RM 3.87 and RM 4.27 (average RM 4.00) and rose RM 0.10 over the month. RON 97 averaged RM 5.03 and Peninsular diesel RM 5.79. Eligible Malaysians paid the BUDI 95 subsidised rate of RM 1.99; the RON 95 figures here are the unsubsidised market price.

RON 97 averaged 19.8% more than the previous month (RM 4.20 → RM 5.03). That is 55.2% higher than a year earlier (RM 3.24). This is the highest RON 97 monthly average in the archive.

1 April 2026: BUDI quota cut to 200 litres. The monthly subsidised allowance is cut from 300 to 200 litres.
