In June 2022, RON 95 retailed between RM 2.05 and RM 2.05 (average RM 2.05) and held steady over the month. RON 97 averaged RM 4.79 and Peninsular diesel RM 2.15.

RON 97 averaged 10.9% more than the previous month (RM 4.32 → RM 4.79). That is 80.1% higher than a year earlier (RM 2.66). It was a record-high RON 97 monthly average at the time, the highest since records began in 2017.
