HargaMinyak.my is not an official site of the Ministry of Finance Malaysia, the Ministry of Domestic Trade, or any government agency. We are an independent private initiative, owned and maintained by a Malaysian individual. We have no official affiliation with the Malaysian government or with fuel retailers (Petronas, Shell, Petron, Caltex, BHP).
Data Source
Fuel price data displayed on this site is sourced from the Malaysian government open data portal, data.gov.my, under their open data licence. We provide a more user-friendly presentation of that data, but the authoritative source for any official prices remains the Ministry of Finance Malaysia's announcements.
Information Accuracy
While we update automatically every hour, the prices on this site may differ slightly from actual prices at the petrol pump for several reasons:
- Update timing, Official announcements on Wednesday afternoon may take time to be uploaded to the data.gov.my API and reflected here.
- Station discounts, Some petrol stations offer discounts via loyalty cards or specific promotions.
- Subsidy tiers, Diesel has several rates (market, BUDI Diesel for individuals, SKDS for commercial). Since 1 July 2026, Sabah/Sarawak follow the same market price as the Peninsula.
- Technical errors, While rare, display errors are possible.
Before making important financial decisions (e.g., bulk fuel-card purchases, company fleet planning), please verify current prices at your preferred petrol station or via official sources.
